The hub I get hits on every day is a musing on how to go about committing the perfect murder. I wrote it just to screw with people, whereas all my fiction articles and works meant to be of genuine use are ignored completely. That pretty much right there was the reason I stopped writing a hub a day and have become a full-fledged misanthrope.

What can I say? Within every cynic is a dissapointed idealist.

I make money & get viewers from kooday but my popular hub is about dating.

I have a hub that simply highlights some of the best hubbers on hubpages, and it is visited on an average about 35 times a day, on some days I have seen 82 visits. But however I have some hubs that only average 11 visits a day. I just started to link them to hubbers pages with similiar topics that have a lot of followers and it made some of a difference but not a significant difference.

I am currently striving to gain more followers and to do more backlinking on social network sites. You should backlink on xomba. Com, shetoldme.Com, reddit.

Com, redgages. Com, stumbleupon.Com,facebook. Com, twitter.

Com, delicious.Com, blogger. Com, goarticles. Com, wordpress.Com, bestreviewer.

Com, esite. Com, ezine.Com, you can also write for these sites in general in addition to squidoo.com.

Ah, I see Ambassador Butler has made a resurgence :P. My most-visited hub has about 25,500 hits on it right now. The funny thing is, I wrote that one because one of my friends asked me the question and I decided to go ahead and write the article. It's on a very obscure topic that can't apply to most people in high-population areas, and I've also never promoted it.

It ended up #1 in Google for all five of its keywords (bumped to #3 on the most-searched term briefly after the algorithm change, but it's back now) and generally gets between 50 and 195 hits a day. Even better, it is responsible for well over $150 in Adsense earnings and about another $70 in Amazon sales. There are a few sales from eBay that, given the category, I suspect were from that one too, but no real way to know for sure.

While I won't say exactly which one it is, it certainly does say something about the power of long tail marketing. All of my top ten articles are geared to very specific, though very small niches. Of those, only a couple of them were truly researched for keywords, etc. (contrary to my own best practices and the advice I give other people) and only one has been promoted much at all by me.

A couple of them have been linked in other people's blogs and such, but I only found those when I checked for backlinks with SEO Quake.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
