Thankfully we don't get typhoons in Scotland. The worst hurricane I remember was when I was just a kid. It was the noise of trees, roofs and anything else getting ripped up or ripped off that terrified me at the time.
I was staying in a small village in Vanuatu when a cyclone hit. We had time to shelter but we were boarded up in a very small bunker . The worst part was hearing all the racket outside and not being able to see what was happenning.
When it was all over and it was safe to come out, it looked as if somebody had gone through and chopped down every tree in site, then as if they had collected heaps of building materials and dumped them all over the place.
What I liked was the most amazingly huge snails that appeared after all the rain. They were ginormous.
I saw catfishes swimming inside our campus! LOL =)).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
