I have diabetes and I go to my regular family doctor. She is great working with me in controlling my diabetes and allows me to be an active participant in my own care. You can also see an endocrinologist who specializes in the endocrine system. It's important you learn as much about diabetes as you can so you understand it.
The more you learn, the better you'll be at controlling your blood sugar levels.
I heard that my cousin was recently diagnosed with prediabetes but that the doctor was not too worried. Apparently during this stage, changing your life style will do wonders and can turn over the effects of the prediabetes. As far as I know, my cousin never saw any doctor other than his regular GP for all of this.
Is that normal? What kind of doctor treats diabetes?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
