What letter grade would you give Steve Nash's season? (Playoffs included)?

You know, back when Nash left Dallas, I was like, "Why in the hell would Mark Cuban even think of throwing that pure talent away?" Especially since Dirk and Nash were such good friends and teammates. Soon after that the Mavs let Finley go to the Spurs, where he went on to become an NBA champion long before Dirk helped bring the trophy to Dallas.

It was hard to swallow, and it still kind of is, since both Nash and Dirk have said they had planned to retire together as Mavericks. But as far as Cuban being a bad owner, I can't say that he is. Yes, he's obnoxious.

Yes, he's outspoken and says idiotic things. Yet he's built up an intense fan base in Dallas, a complete football city before Cuban, and built up the team with Dirk and other veterans to balance out the young talent. When he traded Devin Harris away for an aging JKidd, we all wondered what the hell he was doing.

It turned out to completely change the virtues of the franchise, having an incredible defender and all around player like Kidd to lead the team behind Dirk. So no, I can't say it was a mistake. I wish we had Nash, but I honestly think he wouldn't have completely bought into the stronger defensive approach Dallas has taken in the past few seasons.

He just doesn't have that defensive mindset other players do. One of the all time greats, no doubt about it. Also, playing on the same team, Nash and Dirk wouldn't have had those MVP seasons.

They would have had to share the ball too much with each other. Nash was/is the main attraction in Phoenix, as Dirk is with the Mavs.

Don't go ranting on Cuban man, especially after all he did to get the Mavs to the Finals. He played so many key roles and is one of the best owners in the league. He convinced Dirk to stay with the Mavs last year when he was gonna become a free agent and promised him they would win a championship.

He's such a big supporter of the team and is always there for his players, using his money to get them 5-star hotels and what not. Every guy on the mavs organization likes him. He can tend to open his mouth and interfere, but he stopped that this postseason, so I think thats over.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
