The most important thing is inspiration, if you got that, then it should flow outta you, and thats something that you take and twist to the way you feel is right. But its not something that comes as easy to everyone, theres many different ways of writing music, not everyone uses the same methods etc... the hardest part id say is trying to write when your uninspired, its frustrating and do your head in, music is something natural and not something that can be rushed, some of the greatest masterpieces took up to a few years to be written to the finish line.
I think the hardest part would be actually getting started. That's how it is whenever I have to write something. BQ: I got to hang out with some friends for the first time in months last friday.
BQ2: Bands I like or artists I find hot? Good bands - Family Force 5, Anberlin, The Beatles, RED, House of Heroes Hot musicians (in my opinion) - Soul Glow Activatur of FF5, Josh Dies of Showbread, Joe Rickard of RED BQ3: I'd spend the day with the one guy I actually love.
