People confuse these terms all the time. No one is denying whether a human fetus is human or not, there is a lot of contentious debate regarding it's vitality. A fetus does not even have a heart beat until 6 weeks, and before then is basically just a collection of cells.
It "looks" like a baby, does not mean it is a baby yet. It is like saying since the paramecium has potential to evolve, we shouldn't kill it. Ever cell has the potential to turn into the baby, however at one point(ethically) does the fetus's life become more important then the mother?
The mother has the choice, it is her body. Secondly, Many phyisicians life does not even start until 22 weeks(higher brain function), per the converse definition of brain death. The medicolegal community has not made a complete decision yet.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
