What part of botany deals with toxic plants?

The study of poisonous plants is toxicology. To be more specific, the branch of botany which deals with plant poisons is called phytotoxicology (plant toxicology). There is another branch where one study how chemical substances in general react in a living body is called pharmacology. So, in this branch also people study plant poisons.

There is another branch which the study of study of plant diseases and materials which cause harm to plants. That branch is called Phytopathology. This is not the one.

Some people think that Vegetable physiology is the name of the branch. But vegetable physiology is only dealt with physical interactions of a plant in its own flora. Soil, air temp, ph, moisture level, basic or trace elements, nutrients level etc. So this cannot be the subject which deals with poisonous plants.

The correct name is phytotoxicology.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
