What plants would grow best in a desert landscaping pond? I am about to invest in some plants and do not want them to die due to the heat?

Plants that are native to the desert will naturally tolerate the heat. Cacti are the most heat and drought resistant plants on earth! Try tropical varieties of water lilies or varieties of Achillea and Agastache.
