As a result of the French and Indian War, the British's attention was drawn onto the colonies for the first time in a long time. Before the war, the North American colonies were profiting from Salutory Negelct, meaning that the British were negelcting the colonies and the colonies were benefitting from it. After the war, the British put more of a tight leash upon the colonies.
They stopped the colonies from having independent goverenments, like the Virginia House of Burgesses. Also, the Proclamation for 1763 was passed, stopping the colonists from moving west of the Appalacian Mts. The Stamp and and the Tea acts were also passed, the Stamp act being eventually repealed, but the Declaratory act was passed.
Basically, the after the French and Indian war, the British kept a tighter leash on the colonies, pushing the colonies towards independence.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
