What punishment should Naomi Campbell face if she knowingly accepted "blood diamonds"?

I believe that every situation in life is conditional. If Naomi Campbell accepted blood diamonds, what did she do with them after she accepted them? Looked at how pretty it was?

Blood diamonds is a cause that I am very passionate about. To be honest, since learning about this horrible thing, I haven't bought or received any type of diamonds. It's my understanding that even a certified diamond today, could indeed be a blood diamond.

There is no 100% safe way of knowing. Why cause blood shed and fund wars over nothing more than a rock? Diamonds literally make me sick to my stomach after some of the articles and footage I've seen over the past years.

If she knowingly accepted conflict diamonds and used them in anyway other than to make more good, than bad that come from them... well how about a little bit of treatment that the people/children endured for wanting the right to cast a vote? Perhaps her hand/hands could be cut off, she could be forced to pan diamonds at gun point, or perhaps she should be forced to give her money over to help out some of these people who were tortured have a better life today. Ugh, she makes me sick.

There need have been nothing illegal about accepting the gift diamonds. However, it is illegal to lie to any court. It is not clear whether she is lying or just bending her story.

Her attitude to being asked to testify at an international war crimes tribune, being upset at the inconvenience, is a disgrace. It's also hard to believe she had not heard of Liberia or its President. It's just not that obscure a country, and Taylor had been in the news a lot.

She in not the cause of the problem or your partially informed moral judgment of the problem. She should be treated just like anyone else.

If she is found guilty of a crime I think she should receive what ever the normal punishment is, not more because she is a model, nor less.

None. All this nonsense is fueled by some parties desire to be given attention by the international community. True that the social issues need to be rectified but dragging someone who doesn't have a clue about what's going on isn't palatable.

NONE she have presser or maybe she was trick about somobody! We talk about "President Charles Taylor" I think she will not have problem with law!

She should be barred from wearing make-up and wearing hair weaves. Then ordered to stroll the catwalk showing off her bald patches.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
