What question would you like to ask the Republican presidential candidates?

It appears his plan is to get Big Government out of micro managing Business. I was going to thank the person that typed it into his answer until he called it stupid. Time for the USA to recapture the Pioneering Spirit & give up the attitude of being entitled!

Clinton had NO plan. Gingrich balanced the budget. DARPA created the Internet.

Reagan's Military Budget enabled Clinton's military cut backs. Clinton's budget was enabled by others!

If the Repbulicans want to win more converts over to their side they have to stop with the negative politics. This document is full of -- "Obama fails to understand -- this....that.....some other thing". Tell us how you will fix the economy and, for example, how lower taxes will create jobs.

Jobs are created when a corporation experiences more demand for their products. How does offering tax favoritism to the rich create this demand. Demand is in the hands of the middle class.

That is what I need an answer to and maybe then I would be a Republican if it made sense. Another thing, it should not say that we should stop all rules on corporations without telling us which ones they are and why. Dodd-Frank was enacted to protect us against banks and brokers selling worthless securities as having value.

Is that one of the ones to repeal?

Edit: OK, if it's happening to you regularly then next time ask them why they pose that particular question to US citizens. You can ask it in a non-confrontational way. Please let me know what they say (by writing to me via YA).

I have entered the USA hundreds of times and no US Immigration Officer has EVER asked me how long I planned to stay. If a US Immigration Officer asked you that it was simply a mistake. They were probably used to working the non-citizens line and asked it out of habit.

Never had that happen - never! In this instance, I would guess that officer has been working on the non-citizen lanes & asked out of habit. Silly, probably meaningless, and ignore it.

I think in all of their griping that they've forgotten that - that's what tax money goes for anyway. Tax money is SUPPOSED to go to help schools and so forth. I think republicans have forgotten that.

If it wasn't for tax money we wouldn't have been able to land on the moon. This isn't some welfare thing, this is taxes going to serve one of their original purposes, schools and children of all races and income. The future of the U.S., your kids and mine.

Republicans complain all the time but never actually do anything.

Education is the responsibility of individual states. In addition most states have local elected school boards who make decisions on things like school lunches. Why does Obama want to expand Federal power into an area best managed by locally elected School Boards.

And there's a crucial component you left out of the equation...the Republicans' policies were the ones who caused the unemployment---deregulation, subsidized outsourcing, depression-causing supply-side extremism...all designed to SHRINK to a TRICKLE the nation's economy while the GOP and their corporate-colluder fatcats make mighty big bucks from American workers' miseries. This 112th Republican-controlled (or in the Senate Mitch-McConnell-filibustered ad nauseum) do-nothing Congress has gone on "break" after something like two weeks of doing nothing in Washington, despite Democrats repeatedly trying to get approval for trade deals pending that would mean American jobs; JOBS bills pending but unreasonably BLOCKED by the right-wing partisan do-nothings; extended unemployment benefits for families trying to survive; tax relief for low-income or middle-income workers to spark consumer spending that helps GROW the economy---all of these have been deliberately BLOCKED by Republicans for no good reason whatsoever except that they want President Obama to fail---even if this means the nation fails! Let's VOTE OUT these naysaying obstructionists and get us some REAL representation in Congress this November---people who will WORK to get good legislations passed instead of blocking them due to bigotry or partisan crappola!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
