What route can I take to get to Ocala, Florida in the least amount of time from Georgia?

The best route from Georgia to Ocala, Florida depends upon where you are coming from in Georgia. Ocala is situated along I-75. So if this is a closer option, travel straight down I-75 is certainly the fastest and most desirable.

If I-95 is the closest option for you there are two good choices. The first option is to travel south on I-95 to Jacksonville, Florida. Take the 295 route around Jacksonville and exit onto I-10 west.Travel west on I-10 to State Road 310 south.

310 will take you directly into the center of Ocala. The second option is to travel south on I-95 until the Ormond Beach, Florida exit for State Road 40. State Road 40 west takes you directly into the east side of Ocala and Silver Springs.
