17 because many high school students are ACCEPTED into college at that age. As soon as they're accepted, they'll want to join your site and start making friends.
I think it largely would depend on the person. Some questions you might think about: Are they responsible enough to handle this networking or are they the type that just wants to grab and run and cause others on the network a lot of trouble? At least, if you choose age 18, you would not have to be responsible for any unacceptable outcome.
Pinky 8.
Out of those two ages, I would say 17 because I know plenty of people from my college who were 17 when they first got there. Thus they should not be restricted from joining a social networking site for college students just because they are not 18, which is generally the age people are when starting out college.
I personally feel that is should just depend on WHEN you get in to college. Maybe instead of having to provide a birthday to prove eligibility, put in some sort of student I.D. or something. It is very simple to make an account using a fake birthday, I see many people doing it on sites like facebook and myspace.
I think the age should be the age you begin college, and this would be a good way to decide that. This would also help keep the level of "creeps" off of the site, and it might just reduce a little of the threat generated by social networking sites!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
