What should I ask of prospective renters?

Make SURE to ask them where they've rented before and get the name/number. Then CALL the previous renter. I'd also get social security numbers and names/addresses of family members.

The reason for this? I rented my Condominium|condo for four years and it was the most frustrating. We had some good renters, but mainly bad.

You need to be able to sue them if they leave without paying or created damage beyond the security deposit. Make sure you take pictures before AND after they leave.

I've rented a number of times. Landlords have always run a credit check to check credit history/score. It's a good idea to ask for proof of income such as pay stubs, the prior year's tax return etc.While it's great to get contact information for their current or previous landlords, not everyone in the rental market has rented before.

Ask if they have or plan to have any pets since a lot of damage can be caused by pets. Make sure you get a security deposit. Depending on how you view the risk of the individual renter, the security deposit can be increased to account for the additional perceived risk.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
