What should I do when my counter strike 1.6 says could not contact master game server to retrieve server list?

CS is probably being blocked by a firewall allow hl. Exe as a firewall exception or turn off firewall(I tried it nothing happens).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
