Before blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), the lower lids are evaluated not only for skin and fat, but for elasticity. If the tone and support to the lid is poor, the position of the lid may drop. Patients with poor tone have lower lids that can pull far away from the eyeball.
If not dealt with at the time of the lid lift, a pull-down of the lower lid, called an ectropion, may result. It looks bad, but, more important, can lead to a drying of the eyeball and infection, possibly even blindness. During your consultation, the plastic surgeon will examine your lids and make these observations.
He will take photographs and perform digital simulations. An ophthalmologist, a medical doctor specializing in eyes, should do a complete examination prior to surgery. He'll evaluate your teardrop production and quality.
If not enough tears are produced, dry eye problems are likely to follow the surgery. In this case, more conservative surgery may be performed. In fact, patients with dry eyes can undergo careful blepharoplasty.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
