Stuffed animal. My kids loved them up to 18 years old and maybe a basketball necklace from Hallmark store.

Maybe get him some basketball cards or a basketball or go to a thrift store to get him a cute shirt that is in his style choice or maybe thet have ashirt with his favorite basketball team on it .
