I've given up on trusting the speed guns, the results are just not consistent, in the recent Ashes Test at Perth there were only a couple of times when anybody clocked over about 140kph, the last Ashes series in England last year there were about 6 bowlers clocked over 150kph, something has got to be wrong, Jimmy Anderson bowled a few balls that looked pretty fast and he only clocked 130kph, the numbers are supposed to be 'for entertainment only' and not recognised officially but it be nice if they could be more consistent!
You have a very unusual fetish. I have heard of many but, speed? Don't be surprised that indian bowlers can't reach 130kph, they are very slow.
Don't blame the speed guns. Maybe the BCCI will fix speed guns in future but it won't make a difference what the speed guns say because what matters most is how the batsman plays the ball. I have another idea, the BCCI should fix hawk eye too, where it will appear as if Harbi is turning the bowl square but in fact the ball is going straight.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
