What to do in LA?Current plan:LA,vegas,yosemite=$720.Sh... I cancel yosemite for $266 Ensenada,Mexico cruise?

The West Coast/Mexico Cruise market basically tanked several years ago due to a lot of factors that hit at once such as the Economy and Drug Wars in Mexico. In fact because of the Cartels the cruise lines pulled out of a few ports due to them. It is improving as of about a year ago the port of Mazatlán is just starting to be visited again(although as of a few months ago you will still see armed military officers with vehicle mounted guns).

As a result of all of this there are only two cruise lines that do regular cruises to Mexico. Carnival sails out of Long Beach and Princess sails out of San Pedro. Most of the cruises are going to be 3-4 days with a few 7 day cruises.

Personally I would normally recommend Royal Caribbean. However, they do not make regular stops in California and Mexico. So between the two Carnival is Cheaper and will be more of a "party" cruise, especially the shorter 3-4 day cruise, and unless you are into that I would suggest Princess instead.

They will be a higher cost, but since you are looking for an anniversary cruise will probably be more of what you are looking for. As for the cruise itself. Yes food in the buffet and main dining room is included.

However, you also have the opportunity to pay for "Premium" experiences such as a Steakhouse if you want a romantic dinner. Generally these specialty restaurants will charge a $25-$40 per person cover charge. Drinks with the exception of non-carbonated, non-alcoholic ones are not included.

So regular coffee and lemonade are included, but things such as specialty coffee and sodas are not. You can look at purchasing a "drink package" that if you drink more than a couple a day could be worth it. In the ports you can go out on your own or take a ship led excursion.

I personally avoid the ship led excursions and try to do it on our own. However, while in Mexico if you are going to go beyond the port area it still is probably safer to go for one of the ship excursions as they will generally keep you out of the dangerous areas. If you happen to have a cruise that stops at Catalina, I would take a look at going out on your own and doing something like a back country adventure or jeep tour.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
