Birmingham, AL is one of the most unique U.S. Cities and there are plenty of attractions worth visiting. Although the city is fairly young compared to other southern cities, the history of the city is remembered in a few of the open attractions. The Vulcan Park and Museum is home to the largest cast iron statue in the world as a tribute to the days of the steel and iron industries of the early 1900's.
