What type of autofocus (AF) system does the Optio S50 use, and what is the autofocus area?

The OptioS50 uses TTL (through-the-lens) contrast detection autofocus system. The focus area can be set either to Wide Focus Area (5-point autofocus) or Spot Focus Point.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
