What type of oil for 1986 ford F150?

I would recommend you use a High Mileage SAE 10w-30 oil in this 29 year old vehicle.

The 4.9L, 5.0L and 5.8L call for 5w30. Although a 10w30 would not hurt to use as well.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
