Super Contra For me it was Super Contra. As the Wikipedia article says, it was the second in the series, after the success of Contra. I also liked Contra 3, but that is a 16-bit SNES game.
Here are some personal experiences with the game: 1) I still play the game sometimes. I have an 8-bit emulator for the game. 2) I always struggle around the 6th stage for getting across aliens when they attack from either sides.3) If you have not seen it yet, then see the speed run of Super Contra at Youtube. It is a fun video.

Boy I sounds very "vanilla ice cream" with this answer, but......it has to be Super Mario Bros. 3 Sorry to be so unoriginal, but I think its legacy of the whole Mario franchinse speaks for the quality, fun, and value of the whole Mario series of games for the NES (which includes Mario 1, 2, & 3). How bizarre for NES to come up with a game featuring two plumber brothers on a quest to rescue a princess!
But it worked. The levels were challenging and exciting (for every game). The characters were memorable.
And the music was darn catchy! So why number 3? Not just for the enhanced graphics. It had the most superior gameplay elements, frankly of any Mario game I've seen to date!
Remember the tanookie suit? The flying raccoon leaf? Toad's slot machine and match game?
Plus it was the first of the Mario sequels to really build on the idea of secret bonus areas. Talk about a fun challenge! Super mario 3 had it all!
(although I secretly have to laugh about Mario 2 - remember that it isn't actually a Mario game at all? That the Japanese early release of Mario 2 didn't go over well, so for the US release they took a completley different game, plopped Mario characters in it and called it Mario 2? Not that I care, it is still a Mario classic and was a lot of fun!

Super Mario Bros 3 SMB3! What’s there not to like? The gameplay still holds today.
The graphics, imo, still look good. It’s appropriate for little kids (even though there is so ’shroom ingesting). It’s just a flat-out classic.
The only thing I wish it had was some sort of save feature. Those airships at the end are just plain ridiculous. Sources: gamespot.com/gamespot/features/all/great... Video Someone beating the game in 11 mins..
Super Mario Brothers 3 I love my NES and have built up a collection of close to 50 games now and Super Mario Bros. 3 in my opinion is the best game out there for the NES. Another good one and a close second is Felix the Cat.
I like that one because it is a lot like Mario 3. Sources: my opinion newbie494292's Recommendations Super Mario Bros. 3 Used from: $7.99 Average Customer Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (based on 27 reviews) newbie494292's Recommendations Felix the Cat Used from: $6.25 .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
