Yes its a very special day for all of us :) same to you :).
1. Of course I know who he was...he preached/practiced non violent civil disobedience and led India to independence, setting the standard for the civil rights movement in the United States and other movements around the world. 2.
I'm a product of the public school system in the United States and I learned about him in school. I am also a voracious reader and I've studied him extensively. 3.
I think he was a truly selfless teacher who touched the lives of many people around the world, and made a difference. @Guru Hank - Whoa! Who peed in your cereal this morning?!
LOL Woolly westernerer here who thinks more should follow his example: "What do I think of Western civilisation? I think it would be a very good idea" "Whenever you have truth it must be given with love, or the message and the messanger will be rejected." Happy Birthday, Teacher.
Your message lives on!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
