What was the native americans life like before the immigrants arrived?

Depends on which ones you mean. There were about 45 million Natives on this continent before Europeans arrived. The ones in South America had the greatest empires because of the climate, which allowed them to be more "advanced" than others and they were the Aztecs, Inca, Mayans and all those.

Their lives were just like any others, the Inca had refrigeration, LOTS of Gold and an organized empire. The Aztecs were great warriors and ruled over lots of people, and the Mayans were super smart & had their advanced astronomical technology & calendars & used the zero (that was a big deal for those times) The ones in U. S area were the Cherokee & the 5 advanced tribes of the South near Floridia were normal stereotypical "Natives" in a lot of ways, with the headgear and makeup and stuff, & were pretty peaceful and wise.

Iroquois and Algonkin speakers in New York region were fighters, and then more scattered around throughout the country & on the west coast where they lived in adobe houses. Then ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
