I need to give two! 2 bottles of A-1 one year! An American Airlines gift card another year!(I admit, this one was my birthday, but I wanted to share it anyway!) Don’t get me wrong, A-1 is the best steak sauce known to man.

But for a Christmas gift? How thoughtful is that? I guess I shouldn’t have tried to get a pot going for drinking a whole bottle of it at a restaurant.

I would do that if the price was right. And the money isn’t for having to drink it all, that would be great! It’s more so the sodium content.

Ok Secondly... I got a $50 gift card to American Airlines from a group of friends who all chipped in! Oh boy! There’s a gift I’ll never use!

I fly just about every... NEVER! And if I ever did want to fly, why would I want to be restricted to one airline and buying the tickets direct from them! I could probably save over $50 by buying online using expedia.

Com or cheapflights. Com or wherever the kids are buying flights these days. I thought I might be able to use it for my flight to Mexico for my honeymoon.

Of course not, we got a package deal with the flight included. And even if the flight was American Airlines, since I’m not buying the flight directly from them, I can’t use the gift card! Ok now I feel like an ungrateful scrooge and total jerk... but that’s what you asked for!

A 'nothing' The last couple of Christmases of our marriage, my ex told me that I knew he loved me, so he didn't feel he had to get me anything to show it. Turned out someone else was getting some special stuff.... He left me in 1991. When I was a child, I THOUGHT the most awful gift I would get EVERY Christmas was a knife or fork or spoon from the grandparents.

I did not realize then they were completing a full sterling silver set for me, piece by piece. Both those 'awful' gifts led to wonderful blessings in my life. Although nine years of single parenting six children was pretty rough, I ended up meeting the incredible man I am married to now and I would not trade anything for that!

And as for the silver....well, that blessing goes without saying. It's like a quiet savings account, if nothing else! .

The worst gift The worst gift that I recieved was from my mother in law. She wrapped up one of her old pajama's that had the lace ripped in the bust. It was also approximately 10 years of age and had the smell of moth balls!

The materal was so old that it had thinned. It wasn't like she is poor or anything she could have made or bought a simple gift that would have meant more. My daughter in law sat there in total shock!

A used stuffed animal One year in gradeschool, my "secret santa" gave me a very used stuffed moose, that was aparently hers or her brothers when they were little---I'd have loved it, despite it's ugliness & worn fur, if not for the puke colored stains & horrid stench eminating from the thing. I believe my mom burned it when I got home.

Most of them! My younger brother and I have the same birthday, Dec, 31. He was born on the same day as me, just two years later.

When we were young, and it was the holiday/birthday time of the year, my brother and I would receive one gift for both the holidays and our birthday. But, in addition to the single gift, it also came with the stipulation that the gift was also for both of us to share! How about that for cheap, crappy gifts!.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
