What websites can I use to trace my family history so I can make a family tree?

Websites probably won't help you fill in any gaps over the last 75-100 years, because there are rules preventing publication of recent information, so you're better off asking your family to get the more recent stuff. Once you get back to 1901, the easiest way to start tracing your family is by finding them in the census (http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.… has the 1881 census. http://www.ancestry.co.uk/ has the 1841-1901 censuses, but you have to pay to use them.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
