I am not sure that the Viking committed crimes against humanity. Yes, they murdered, pillaged, and stole, but weren't these acts of war? Aren't most wars a crime against humanity.
However, look at what the Viking also did while invading the world. The Vikings abducted beautiful women from all over the world and took them home to Scandinavia. As a result, they have contributed the modern nordic female.
This early bio-engineering benfits mankind in the long-run and offsets any isolated inhumane acts.
