I think he will be known for his court case for the murder of his ex-wife. He was a great player, but there have been a lot of better football players than him so there is nothing unique about that. However, the "OJ" murder case will live on and that will be his legacy.
In 100 years.. He'll be known as an obscure bit of trivia illustrating peoples interest in celebrity "trial by media" at the end of the 20th century. Acting, and even 'criminal' activities will be mainly forgotten by people and all that will be recalled is a distant memory of some sort of scandal. Now you may be suprised at peoples short memories... nearly 100 years ago (1921) one of Americas most silent movie stars was involved in a similar crime.
If you can remember his name, or what it was then I'd be very suprised. Even if I tell you it was history1900s.about.com/od/famouscrimessc... Fatty Arbuckle do you remember anything about him before you clicked the link? Thats exactly how OJ will be remembered.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
