First of all, Amazon. Com is not going bankrupt! But even if they did, you would still have all the ebooks you have already purchased.

Your Kindle will be obsolete before that would happen, but even if some unforseen economic catastrophe were to happen, your books are stored in the internal memory of your Kindle or your computer which ever device you used to download the books, so they are safe.
