What will happen to North Korea now that Kim Jong Il has just died?

In an ideal world his successor would turn out to be a considerate, reasonable and forward thinking leader of his people for the 21st century as opposed to another bloodthirsty warmongering fascist dictator who oppresses his own people, but I doubt it.

Since he is kim jong il's son, most probably he will just continue all of the policies his dad had made before. Besides, its only just about the leader, its about the system.

You'll notice very little difference. They want the N. Koreans to continue worshiping him a a God, so relacing him with a Moderate would serve as a discredit to him.

Obama should use this opportunity to force House to keep Fed Government running. If the Fed Government was shutdown, U.S. can only defend itself and fail to protect SK and Japan.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
