What would be a good homemade medicine that can be used as an antibiotic?

I agree with cybersupe and jennshealthstore - it also depends on what the antibiotic is for. You cannot manufacture let's say an antibiotic to treat bronchitis. You can 'treat' bronchitis with other methods without the antibiotics - there are 2 ways of thinking - you will get better without the antibiotics anyway or you will not.

The chicken soup theory is a great treatment for anything that ails you! However, if you have an honest-to-goodness infection and if you also have complications such as diabetes let's say - there is NOTHING that I know of that can take the place of an antibiotic prescribed by a physician. It is also important to research your antibiotics (or any medicines) and find out which foods and/or medicines interact with it because sometimes the interaction will render the antibiotic (or another medicine) less effective.

I do not know if you can actually make an antibiotic at home. Buy you can buy colloidal silver, which is none prescription and can be bought at health food stores. I have used it and it works pretty well.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic also. The chicken soup answer is also correct - something ab out what's in chicken soup does help - is it a mother's love?

Chicken Soup often referred to as "Jewish Antibiotic.

I applaud you! One more SMART person trying to avoid antibiotics. My husband and I have cured medically proven strept throat with apple cider vinegar.

We have had the throat cultures to prove we had it, and cured it. The vinegar was taken IN PLACE of the prescribed antibiotics. We never told the Dr what we were doing.

Take 1 tbl of apple cider vinegar, (not white vinegar) 3 times a day for 10 days. (Just like you would an antibiotic). For children try 1 tsp.

I did have one instance where the vinegar would not cure me. That time I used echinacea tincture. The bottle said one dropperful gargled and swallowed every hour for 24 hrs.

I did it while I was awake. It worked! Good luck!

You are onto better health just for the decision to avoid the 'drugs'!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
