Where you are will be critical, in MOST states there are no degrees/diplomas/certificates/licensing require to be a paralegal. Also you need to realize that there is a glut of law graduates that have not taken the bar exam (and many who have) that are working as a paralegal because they can't get any other work.... the paralegal field is expected to grow, on average, with the job market as whole but there are already more attorneys who are not working than there are new jobs .... that is the real issue here... why hire a paralegal when you can hire an actual attorney for the same hourly wage.... assuming you are not competing with attorneys for the jobs in question: attorneys who are hiring paralegals do prefer those with a college degree over those with just a certificate issued by the school... being in an ABA approved community college program is much better than a lot of the other options. What you will find is just as in any field employers may "prefer" a relevant education/degree but they "require" relevant work experience... the internship with your degree will be more valuable than a bachelors without that internship.... now if you are competing with someone who has the same work experience, work ethic, etcetera; and they have an advanced degree, and are willing to work for the same rate of pay then you will be at a disadvantage but the likelihood of that happening is slim to none....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
