What year did Norman Myers hold the world record for climbing Kilimanjaro?

Between 1960 and 1965 Norman Myers led a number of ascents of Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya and in February 1963 he held the record for the fastest ascent of the former This is based on an email he sent me.
