What year did ODU mens basketball advance to NCAA Div I sweet sixteen?

This year is the first time in school history that Old Dominion advanced to the sweet sixteen. They have an overall tournament record of 4 wins and 9 losses. They won a first round game in 1986 against West Virginia and a first round game against Villanova in 1995 prior to this year's tournament.
