What year was the first camera invented, and what was the first picture that was taken?

The first camera invented was made by Alexander Wolcott. Made May 8, 1840. The first attempt to reproduce the First Photograph was conducted at Helmut Gernsheim's request by the Research Laboratory of the Eastman Kodak Company in Harrow, England, in March of 1952.

Sorry, but the first camera was made a LONG time before Wollcott made his in 1840. There are verifiable historical notes that show Leonardi DaVinci made and used a type of camera ("camera obscura") in the 1500's. He used it as a way of projecting a landscape scene onto drawing paper or canvas in order to trace the bare-bones of what would become a painting.

Photographically, Joseph Niepce made the first permanent photograph using a camera obscura in 1826. This first photo is VERY well documented. Ten years later, another Frenchman (and Niepce's former business partner) Louis Daguerre made the occupation of "photographer" possible with his invention of an entirely new process that made photography portable.

The biggest problem with his process was that it took up to 20 minutes to pose for a photo... Hope this clears-up the confusion.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
