Whatever happened to Meredith Brooks?

The song "Bitch" did prove to be her only big hit. She recorded a couple of albums after that, before starting a family in 2003. She then signed a new record deal and re-released her 2002 album Bad Bad One under the title Shine.

Television psychologist Dr. Phil chose the song "Shine" as the theme song for his show. Brooks has recently completed a children's album called If I Could Be... and she continues to work with up-and-coming artists as a producer and as a songwriter.
