They are different notebooks for different purposes. I got the 11" MacBook Air because I think of it as a tablet on steroids rather than a notebook. It's not my main computer since the low drive space and lack of a CD/DVD drive would make it difficult to do certain things, but it is the one I use the most day to day.
The thing is, lots of people lug around optical drives that they rarely ever use. On what is supposed to be a portable device, that is a pain. The Air can wirelessly borrow a drive for installing programs, which is all you really need it for anymore.
People don't burn music CDs anymore, they put it on their iPods. The don't burn data CDs anymore either.. they use USB drives or cloud storage. Most people stream movies rather than watching DVDs anymore.
And the SSD is simply awesome. Super fast and super efficient, so the batteries last a long time. If you need a stand alone computer, get the Pro, it is more capable and has more performance and ports plus the optical drive.
If you want a super portable computer with everything you need and nothing you don't, get the Air. I do almost all of my web browsing and productivity work on it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
