What's faster, iterating an STL vector with vector::iterator or with at()?

If you don't need indexing, don't use it. The iterator concept is there for your best. Iterators are very easy to optimize, while direct access needs some extra knowledge.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
