What's good CAD software for doing scale drawings for planning permission?

Google Sketchup Pro has LayOut to make 2d drawings off the 3D model. Many architects use this for virtualizing the design.

CAD is a great invention to make designs and drawing for any kind of building. Recently the software like * AutoCAD, Tekla Structures (X-steel), StaddPro, Revit are being used to get better designs for any structure.

Need to get the windows on my house fitted and would like to be able to do all the planning permission stuff by myself. Can anyone recommend some good CAD software for this kind of thing? I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
