All of the muesums in Chicago are excellent and good for groups. So is the Lincoln Park Zoo. The mueuems are cheap and good for groups.My favorite are:Adler PlanetariumShedd AquariumThe Field MuseumMuseum of Science and IndustryAll four of them are great muesums.

The Field Muesum is probably my personal fav. Their Art Museum is also very good, I am just not that much into art personally. All in all, Chicago probably has the best set of muesums in the country.

The Lincoln Park zoo is cool because it is free and easy to walk around. Impressive animals too. If anybody in your group is into heights, the Sears Tower Sky Deck is pretty cool too.

Too lengthy here - see additional details If you want to go to the top of a building, choose the Hancock, not the Sears Tower. Hancock is right on Michigan Avenue with lots of other stuff to do, especially shopping. Sears is kind of by itself in business district.

Also, view is better from Hancock, you can see North up the shore of Lake Michigan and see out to Lake Michigan better. Also, if you don't want to pay the fee to go to the Observation Deck ( I think it's like $17.00 each! ) , just go to the restaurant, order a drink, and look out the window.

Best view is from the women's bathroom! It's true! Lincoln Park Zoo - it's free, it's big, could be a 1/2 or full day activity.

All museums - they have group rates especially in the summer when they don't have the school groups. Field Museum is the best and easiest to get to. Shedd Aquarium (has glass tunnel so you walk BELOW the fish and loot UP at them - including sharks) Museum of Science and Industry.

Boat trips on the Chicago River - some are architectural - some are historicalCall Tourism office - you can get a private tour guide to walk you through downtown - block by blockcheck out concerts/activities during the dates that you are there. NOBODY in the world has more free stuff to do than Chicago. China TownCubs GameSox GameEverything I listed here can be reached by bus or train - best public transportation in the world!

Have fun - it's the friendliests, cleanest big city you will EVER be in - my kids live there and I lived there for many years. It's just a bunch of small-town Midwest people living together in a big city. You won't want to leave!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
