Air Canada and its regional carriers allow each customer to check-in two pieces of luggage which is carried in the baggage compartment of the aircraft at no charge. This is known as the 'free checked baggage allowance'. The overall measurement of each piece (L + W + H) must be 158 cm, and the weight less than 32 kgs.
Aeroplan Elite or Super Elite members are allowed to check-in up to four pieces of luggage, dimensions and weight as above. This applies regardless of the class of service the member is travelling in. For more information visit the Travel Planning section of the Air Canada website.
