What's the best selling Alto sax these days?

After a lot of research, I have no idea. This information may not be collected. The Selmer (Etude) and Yamaha are very well known and respected brands.

However, they are more expensive, so you would guess that a cheaper brand would sell more. However, the cheap market seems to be divided into countless brands, often house labeled. There are also small very high end brands.

I would guess that the lower end models from Selmer and Yamaha are likely to be the best sellers but it's just an educated guess based upon their being famous brands and in the middle of the overall price range. Since I don't have a real answer I'm posting this just to say that I had a lot of fun looking. One site where I had the most fun was this one: forum.saxontheweb.net/forumdisplay.php?2... By the way, I am a big fan of Musiciansfriend, who seem to be a fine example of a good internet retailer.

You do have to know what you want before you order though.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
