What's the best weapon to fight Zeus in God of War 3?

Of course, this answer contains major spoilers, so don't read if you don't want those. But you want them, otherwise, you wouldn't have asked this question, right? The battle with Zeus is the final battle in the game, so it's one of the toughest.

Actually, you are fighting Zeus in three phases, and each phase has its very own approach. In the first phase, you should use the Golden Fleece, to block the attacks by Zeus, pressing L1, followed by SQUARE. Then, as Zeus pauses between attacks (After two punches and a clap), you can take a few swings at him.

If he moves out of the way, quickly approach him, and double-jump over him, getting to his backside. This way, you avoid his attacks, AND have a perfect opportunity to hit him again. You can also use “Spirit of Hercules”, “Plume of Prometheus” and “Tartarus Rage”, to get on the offensive.At the second half of the first battle, the “Blade of Olympus” should be your weapon of choice.

The second battle is short, and can be completed fastest using “Blade of Olympus”, in combination with magic attacks, like “Army of Sparta” and “Wings of Icarus”. The third part is a bit of a “King of the where you should try to stay near the titan’s Heart, and keep Zeus from getting there, as attacking the Heart will refill your health, as well as Zeus’ if he gets the chance to strike the Heart.So, stay near, and attack using your “Blade of Olympus” again. The attacks by Zeus, especially his lightning bolts, can be deflected using your “Golden Fleece”.
