The Peer Review and the OGC Gateway Review originated from two different reports. OGC Gateway Reviews derived from the 1999 Gershon Report on Civil Procurement, which established OGC, and the Peer Review concept originated from the Successful IT report in 2000. The OGC Gateway Process defines review points throughout the lifecycle of acquisition projects.
