What's the difference between geology and geography?

In some ways geology and geography are similar; however they are two completely different studies. They are both the study of the Earth, but each focuses on different concepts. In most schools geology is usually a science course while geography is considered a history course.

Geology is an Earth science. It is a study of the organisms and materials found on Earth. It is the study of materials such as rocks, minerals, oils, and water.

Geology also studies how the Earth has changed over time and is still changing today. This includes the study of volcanoes, fault lines and earthquakes, and floods. The scientists who study geology are called Geologists.

Geography is the study of places and where they are located. It is the study of a given space and the number of people who live there. Essentially it is the study of “space and place.

€ The two most common kinds of geography: physical geography and human geography. Physical geography deals with land while human geography deals with people. The people who study geography are called Geographers.

The difference is as between sky and earth. Sociology is the science of society and human relations whilst geography is the science of land and its properties (subsidiary branches of sociology).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
