I think the answer to this question depends on the school you are going to and how in depth the class is. It also depends on which college you go to and if you take a business calculus or regular calculus that student who enter a math, science or engineering major will take. For me, I attended Lehigh University and took 3 courses in calculus.
The first course was pretty much exactly like what I had I a full year in high school. The seond and third courses got into more depth. The first course taught basics about limits, differentiation, intergration, finding maximum and minimum values of functions using derivatives, finding areas under curves and between two curves, etc.The second and third courses got into more complex types of integration, finding the voulme of a solid formed by rotation about an axis, three vairable integration and differentiation, Taylor series and more.
What other things do you need to learn to understand calculus? You will need a solid foundation in algebra, geometry and trigonometry. You will need to master the basics of limits, differentiation and integration.
Good luck!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
