He was only tortured and crucified (an excruciating death. Especially considering it would take 3-4 days to actually starve to death up there), but hey, nothing was lost.
Jesus, having been born perfect, had a right to everlasting life as a perfect human being. That was the prospect for Adam had he remained faithful to God. But because Adam sinned,he became imperfect and began to die.
(Romans 6:23). Death is the result of imperfection. Since Jesus was perfect, under normal circumstances,Jesus would not have died.
Jesus allowed his death to come about at the violent hands of his enemies because he knew that ultimately his death would mean the prospect of salvation for all sinful mankind. So by allowing his death as a human to take place,he sacrificed his human life "once for all time". (Hebrews 7:27) The other point I wanted to make is in response to your question, "If Jesus is God,how can he die in the first place?".
The simple answer is that Jesus is not God. You will not find anything in the bible that suggests that Jesus is the Almighty. Hope this helps.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
