Well there are actually a few that come to mind! The one I would have to say is the worst of all would be, Kanye West. I think this is one really famous singer, that doesn't deserve an ounce of credit or acknowledgment.
Not only does he not have a great voice, but he is just an arrogant person in general. Since the day he released his first song, he acted like he was the biggest start to come out. I just don't think he is very talented.
While this is only my opinion, I know several people feel the same way. He should have a little more respect, and not act like the entire world owes him everything.
Justin Bieber is one of the least talented well known singers around. He has not yet developed any breathing technique or phrasing, his sense of rhythm is nearly nonexistent, and why not, he's little more than a child. If he were being judged by critics and reviewers that were actually musicians instead of corporate music stooges, he would receive very low marks indeed. At least he can match a pitch, unless someone is faking that for him.
In truth, it doesn't take long to find an honest reviewer among the music company shills. Entertainment Weekly sent Lynette Rice to the Kid's Choice Awards to see Justin perform, and she had this to say:..."the kid hit more than a few flat notes last night." music-mix.ew.com/2010/03/28/justin-biebe... She even posted a video proving how bad it was.
How long do you think that video was up? That's right, it's nowhere to be found, as if the live performance didn't actually happen. And yet this young boy who as I read on one message board "looks twelve and sounds ten" has the audacity to criticize Mariah Carey, saying she doesn't sing as well as she used to, her best is behind her.
aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00031474.html Rolling Stone magazine had this to say..."his voice is nasal and lacks heft; the vocals sound pitch-corrected throughout", and their community rating has given "My World 2.0" just one and a half stars out of five. http://www.rollingstone.com/music/reviews/album/2746/20765 I suppose if he grows up, gets some training, learn to sing like an adult man instead of a child and garners an audience whose ages aren't less than their shoe sizes, I'll give him another chance. Because that would be the adult thing to do.
Until then, if I want to listen to a sixteen year old young man who looks and sounds like a grown man, on national television with a number one hit, before the days of "tone corrections for non-singers" I guess I'll have to watch this video of Paul Anka from 1957. I guess there's nothing new, even when you fake it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuTbB-d12A0.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
