Whats the most profitable business to start online?

You see, there are two routes to a profitable business. One is to start with a product or service and find the people that are interested in buying it. The other is to start with a group of people and figure out what they want to buy.

Notice that they both start or end with understanding a group of people - in other words, a target market. So I can't tell you what businesses are going to be profitable - because a particular type of business might be profitable in one place and time but not in another. But you can figure out the answer to the question yourself by using How to Find and Sell to Your Target Market.

This is, of course, one of the pieces of Writing a Business Plan (specifically, The Market Analysis part). Once you've identified your target market, you'll be able to make some astute guesses about the types of businesses that would be the most profitable for you to start.
